Prior to getting my contract I checked the wall socket and there was a virgin box on the wall with a socket coming from it. Get the Hub ready by connecting the wires. Forum; Apps. Broadband only; Fibre broadband; Switch broadband; Gigabit. Plug the cables into the hub. The speeds and connectivity were misrepresented by Virgin Media and the WiFi was utterly dreadful. There are two empty wall sockets but the cable doesn’t fit into either. There are multiple different branded wall boxes inside our flat but none. Any telephone wall sockets you have in the home will stop working post-switchover unless you ask VM to link the sockets to the hub's phone connection as part of the switchover process.
